(More customer reviews)I used to play with the Raider that Volvik made before this ball, and it was excellent. The distance isn't as far as they advertise, but if you've got a ridiculous slice like I do, they tend to reel that in a bit (it's a smaller heavier ball, so it's not as affected by the wind as regular balls). This is an excellent follow up ball, and I'm still seeing a slight increase in my distance and my slice is still manageable.
What they did improve on though is spin. I can actually stop these on the green from 75 to 100 yards out. It's not as much as you'd get with a pro-v or nike one, but I'm not paying 3.50 to 4 bucks a ball either. I'll take the trade with all the other benefits I'm seeing with this ball.
I'm a 12-13 handicap and without these would probably be 15-17.
